Coordinates: 41.987155°, -70.965071°
Location Address: 131 Summer Street, Bridgewater, Massachusetts
Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts was founded in 1840 as the Bridgewater Normal School, and many of the old buildings on campus are rumored to be haunted. The Campus Center Auditorium is said to be haunted by the spirit of a man named George, whose apparition is seen by students playing different instruments in the orchestra pit late at night. Shea-Durgin Hall is said to be haunted by the spirit of a young woman who was strangled to death in Room 208 by a jealous boyfriend after it was discovered she was having an affair. In addition to witnessing the young woman's apparition, residents at Shea-Durgin Hall report experiencing a variety of poltergeist activity, such as lights flickering, and objects being moved or thrown by an unseen entity. Tillinghast Hall is also said to be haunted by the spirit of a former headmistress who died after falling from the building's rooftop. Students at Bridgewater State University have reported experiencing paranormal activity throughout its campus dating back to the late 1800's.

#2

Camp Titicut Reservation
"Camp Titicut"

Coordinates: 41.931820°, -70.999631°
Location Address: 190 Beech Street, Bridgewater, Massachusetts
Camp Titicut Reservation in Bridgewater, Massachusetts was first settled by Native Americans during the 1500's, and was used as a boy's summer camp starting in the 1930's. In 1946 the site was excavated by the Massachusetts Archaeological Society, which uncovered numerous Native American burial sites, as well as over 6,000 other tribal artifacts and relics. Hikers at Camp Titicut report witnessing the apparitions of former tribesmen and women, as well as the spirit of a young boy who drowned in a nearby lake while camping. Others report feeling sudden cold spots, as well as feeling the presence of an unseen entity in the woods. One popular urban legend claims that King Phillip was executed at Camp Titicut, however these claims have been debunked as being historically inaccurate. Despite that, some still claim to encounter the forlorn spirit of King Phillip wandering the woods late at night.
