#1 - Lansingburgh Senior High School

Location Address: 320 7th Ave, Troy, New York Lansingburgh Senior High School in Troy, New York is said to be haunted by the spirits of a group of students who were allegedly killed by a man with an ax. Students often report witnessing apparitions, as well as hearing the sounds of disembodied screaming, though stories about the ax man are widely considered to be an urban legend. #2 - St. Mary's Cemetery

Location Address: 79 Brunswick Road, Troy, New York Visitors at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Troy, New York report witnessing apparitions and a mysterious green orb late at night, as well as experiencing other strange paranormal phenomena, such as experiencing unexplained cold spots, and electronic devices such as cameras and cellular phones malfunctioning. #3 - The Country Club of Troy

Location Address: 100 Troy Country Club Road, Troy, New York Constructed in 1925, The Country Club of Troy in Troy, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former waitress who was killed in a car accident during the 1970's. Guests at the country club often report witnessing a female apparition, as well as experiencing other unexplained paranormal phenomena, such as disembodied voices, cold spots, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. #4 - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Location Address: 110 8th Street, Troy, New York Established in 1824, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York is renowned as being the oldest technological research university in the United States. Formerly the site of the old Troy Hospital, West Hall is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former psychiatric nurse named Betsy, who was killed in a fire while trying to rescue her patients. In another variation of the story, Betsy was a sinister woman who went insane before killing several patients and herself. Her spirit is said to wander the hallways of West Hall, and is often seen and heard playing the piano late at night. Students also report hearing the sounds of disembodied screams and thuds, and many report feeling the presence of an unseen entity, or feelings of being watched.
