Residents of Lee Avenue in Yonkers, New York claim their homes are frequently visited by violent, aggressive spirits who torment their inhabitants. Reports of paranormal activity range from encountering malevolent spirits, to hearing disembodied voices, to having objects thrown across the room by an unseen entity. Former residents have also reported feeling as if they were being possessed by a demonic entity, and several attempts to exorcise the houses have been attempted over the years. Many believe the buildings on Lee Avenue were built over an ancient Native American burial ground, and in June of 2012 a book was published by a former Lee Avenue resident about the allegedly haunted location, called The Lee Avenue Haunting.

GhostQuest.net earns a small commission from affiliate links. These commissions don't cost anything and are placed in helpful locations to offer additional resources, information, and other relevant material.  Commissions help with the upkeep and maintenance of GhostQuest.net, as well as funding and producing future content for you - the amazing GhostQuest.net community! GhostQuest.net also runs a small number of advertisements on some pages which help with these costs. I've spent years creating GhostQuest.net to advance the fields of paranormal investigation and research, and advertisements are placed sparingly. It would mean a lot to me if you would consider disabling your ad blocker while using my website.
