Location Address: 80th Street, Ozone Park, Queens, New York Founded in 1865, Bayside Cemetery in Queens, New York is a historic Jewish cemetery that spans over twelve acres, and is home to over 35,000 burial plots. Visitors report witnessing apparitions, as well as experiencing other unexplained paranormal phenomena such as strange odors, disembodied voices, whispers, and feelings of paranoia that subside upon leaving the location. Paranormal investigators also report experiencing issues with electrical devices, such as camera and flashlight batteries being unexpectedly drained. During the mid-1900's, Bayside Cemetery fell into a state of disrepair and neglect, and saw many tombstones and other monuments fall victim to vandalism. In 2012 a nonprofit organization called The Community Association for Jewish At-Risk Cemeteries (CAJAC) began restoring the cemetery, and continues to maintain and preserve it. #2 - Ft. Totten Park

Totten in Queens, New York was constructed in 1862 to protect New York Harbor from Confederate forces during the American Civil War. It was used as an active military installation until the 1970's, and is now used by residents of the Bayside neighborhood as a walking park. Visitors at Ft. Totten often report witnessing apparitions, as well as hearing disembodied voices and footsteps. Although it is believed that several unidentified spirits haunt the Ft. Totten Park, the reason for their presence is unknown. #3 - St. John Cemetery

Location Address: 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, Queens, New York Established in 1879, Saint John Cemetery is a Roman Catholic burial ground in Middle Village, Queens. It is the burial site of dozens of former members of organized crime and mafia families, including Charles Luciano, Joe Colombo, John Gotti, and Vannie Higgins, as well as several New York congressmen and politicians. Visitors at the old cemetery report witnessing apparitions and hearing disembodied voices, as well as experiencing unexplained cold spots and drops in temperature.

Location Address: 20 Carroll Street, Poughkeepsie, New York Constructed in 1888, Christ Episcopal Church in Poughkeepsie, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former reverend named Peter Cummings, who passed away in the 1940's. Parishioners also report witnessing other shadow figures and unknown apparitions, such as one woman who appears during church services sitting in one of the pews. Other churchgoers have reported witnessing a man's decapitated head floating through the church, as well as hearing the sounds of disembodied laughter. #2 - Dutchess Community College

It is said to be haunted by the spirits of former patients who died painful deaths from tuberculosis and other diseases. Students at Bowne Hall report witnessing apparitions, as well as experiencing other paranormal activity, such as lights turning on and off by themselves, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. According to police reports, Ms. Sperling was shot while running away from a young man named Louis Acevedo, who was emotionally distraught after their recent breakup. Students at Sheahan Hall often report encountering Shelley Sperling's apparition, as well as witnessing doors opening and closing by themselves, and objects being moved or thrown across the room by an unseen entity. It is said to be haunted by the spirit of a dark-haired woman, whose glowing apparition is seen by visitors and passing motorists wearing a long white dress. Visitors at the cemetery have reported witnessing other apparitions and shadow figures over the years, as well as experiencing strange paranormal activity, such as sudden cold spots, and feelings of being watched.

Location Address: 1 Clifford Drive, Plattsburgh, New York Students claim that Plattsburgh High School in Plattsburgh, New York is haunted by the spirit of a former student named David, whose apparition wanders the hallways and parking lot at night. Although stories have been told about the school being haunted for many years, little information is available about this alleged haunting, and very few witnesses have come forward with firsthand accounts of paranormal encounters. #2 - Plattsburgh International Airport

Location Address: 42 Airport Lane, Plattsburgh, New York Plattsburgh International Airport in Plattsburgh, New York was established in December of 1814 as a military barracks, which later became Plattsburgh Air Force Base. Plattsburgh Air Force Base closed in September of 1995, and was expanded and reopened in April of 2006 as Plattsburgh International Airport. Travelers and employees at the airport report witnessing apparitions and shadow figures, including the spirits of former soldiers dating back to the American Civil War and War of 1812. Others report encountering the spirits of several young children, as well as experiencing unexplained paranormal activity, such as glowing orbs, cold spots, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. The 1,900 acre airport was also the site of a battle between American and British soldiers during the War of 1812, which many claim is the reason for some of the paranormal activity at this location. Location Address: 101 Broad Street, Plattsburgh, New York Residents at Macdonough Hall at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Plattsburgh, New York report witnessing shadow figures and apparitions, as well as experiencing other unexplained paranormal activity, such as disembodied voices, lights flickering, faucets turning on and off by themselves, and fire alarms going off in the middle of the night. The spirits haunting the location are said to belong to a man and woman whose headstones were discovered by a construction crew in 1949 while Macdonough Hall was being constructed.

Location Address: County Route 57, Oswego, New York In the spring of 1898, an Oswego man named William Cooper returned to his family farmhouse on County Route 57, also known as "Seneca Hill," after a night of heavy drinking. After getting into an argument with his wife, William loaded a rifle and attempted to shoot the woman. Mrs. Cooper managed to escape with their young daughter, and ran to a neighbor's house for help. When William arrived shortly after, it's believed that he first shot and killed the neighbors who attempted to protect his wife. According to an article published in the New York Times on June 25th of 1898, he then turned the rifle on Mrs. Cooper, their daughter, and then finally himself. Ever since, motorists on County Route 57 and several other nearby roadways have reported witnessing the spirit of a woman and a young girl wearing old night gowns, running barefoot down the road. Others report feeling sudden cold spots, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. #2 - Ft. Ontario State Historic Site

Location Address: 1 E. 4th Street, Oswego, New York Ft. Ontario in Oswego, New York was constructed in the early 1700's as a trading post, and in 1727 was commissioned by British troops as a military outpost. The fort was destroyed several times over the course of the American Revolutionary War and War of 1812, and was used by the United States as an active military base until 1940. In 1756, Fort Ontario was captured by a group of French and Native American soldiers. Historians estimate that over 100 British soldiers were killed in the attack, and many more were executed after the battle. The fort was destroyed in July of 1778 after being abandoned by British troops, and was rebuilt in 1782. During World War II the fort was used to house Jewish refugees fleeing from Europe. Many tourists visiting Ft. Ontario report witnessing the spirits of former soldiers dressed in old military uniforms, as well as hearing disembodied voices, yells, and the sounds of children laughing. Others report experiencing cold spots, as well as a variety of other unexplained paranormal phenomena, such as feeling the presence of an unseen entity, or hearing the sounds of cannons and muskets being fired in the distance. #3 - Oswego Players, Inc

Location Address: Francis Marion Brown Theater, Barbara Donahue Drive, Oswego, New York Also known as the Francis Marion Brown Theater, the Oswego Players, Inc in Oswego, New York was constructed in 1903. It is said to be haunted by the spirit of a homeless man who died in the basement. Audience members at the theater also report witnessing the spirit of a woman carrying a candle, while also experiencing other unexplained paranormal phenomena, such as hearing disembodied voices, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. The Francis Marion Brown Theater was originally used as a commissary for troops stationed at Ft. Ontario. #4 - Riverside Cemetery

Location Address: 4024 County Route 57, Oswego, New York Established in 1855, Riverside Cemetery in Oswego, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a young boy who drowned in a nearby pond. Visitors report encountering the boy's apparition, as well as hearing the sounds of disembodied voices and laughter. Others report feeling cold spots, or feeling the presence of an unseen entity. Riverside Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. #5 - West Pierhead Lighthouse

Location Address: Port of Oswego Authority, 1 E. 2nd Street, Oswego, New York Constructed in 1934, the West Pierhead Lighthouse in Oswego, New York is said to be haunted by the spirits of six United States Coast Guard sailors who were killed after crashing their boat into a nearby breakwall. On November 30, 1942, a large blizzard descended onto Lake Ontario and the West Pierhead Lighthouse, where Boatswain's Mate First Class Karl H. Jackson was stationed for duty. After being stranded at the lighthouse for five days, a small break in the storm allowed for a rescue attempt. A rescue crew of eight men was dispatched to the lighthouse to deliver supplies and replace Karl Jackson with another guard. The crew arrived at the lighthouse and was able to successfully deliver the supplies, as well as retrieve Karl Jackson, who was replaced with a different guard. Upon beginning the return trip, however, a large wave struck the 30-foot long vessel, causing it to slam into the lighthouse with enough force to cause the engine to stall. The ship was then left powerless against the 60-mile-an-hour winds pushing it slowly towards the lighthouse's eastern breakwall, which it eventually met with such force that six of its eight crew members were killed instantly, including Boatswain's Mate First Class Karl H. Jackson. According to legend, their spirits are said to haunt the lighthouse, and guests frequently report witnessing apparitions and glowing orbs at night. Others report hearing the disembodied sounds of men screaming, as well as feeling the presence of an unseen entity.

Location Address: 160 Convent Ave, New York City, New York City College of New York in New York City (also known as "CCNY") was established in 1847 as the Free Academy of New York. Students dating back to the 1920's have reported encountering the spirits of former students and professors, including one student who passed away in 1918 while attending the college. Many apparitions are seen wearing clothing from decades passed, while others are said to appear to wear modern clothing and attire. Students throughout the college also report feeling cold spots and sudden drops in temperature, as well as feeling the presence of an unseen entity. #2 - Dakota Apartments

Location Address: 1 W. 72nd Street, New York City, New York Constructed in 1884, the Dakota Apartments in New York City were made infamous on December 8, 1980 when the famous British rock star, John Lennon, of The Beatles was assassinated on the sidewalk outside. Since his death, many people report witnessing Lennon's apparition, including Lennon's former wife, Yoko Ono, who lived in the building for another twenty years after his death. Other residents report encountering the spirit of a young girl with blonde hair, as well as a wandering spirit known as "The Crying Lady." Many also report hearing the sounds of disembodied voices and footsteps, as well as experiencing other unexplained paranormal activity, such as objects moving by themselves, unexplained cold spots, and feelings of being watched by an unseen entity. Another spirit said to haunt the old hotel is that of a man named Valentino, whose apparition is allegedly seen reflected in windows and mirrors, and accompanied by the strong smell of exotic cologne. Location Address: 180 Greenwich Street, Manhattan, New York Many rescue workers and emergency response teams on the morning of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City allegedly reported witnessing the apparition of a mysterious dark skinned woman wearing a white dress, who appeared at the collapsing World Trade Center to assist wounded victims and to help the souls of the deceased to pass over. Since the September 11th terrorist attacks, visitors at Ground Zero in Manhattan report witnessing the apparitions of victims and rescue workers who were killed tragically, as well as experiencing other paranormal phenomena, such as hearing disembodied voices, explosions, and screams, or feeling the presence of an unseen entity. The mansion is said to be haunted by the spirits of several of its former owners and occupants, including the spirit of a young woman named Elizabeth Jumel, whose apparition is allegedly seen by employees and guests. Guests at the mansion have also reported witnessing the spirits of former American soldiers wearing Revolutionary War-era uniforms, and the 3rd floor of the mansion is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former maid who died of a heart attack. #4 - New York University

Brittany Hall was constructed in 1929 as the Brittany Hotel, and was allegedly used as a speakeasy during the prohibition era.

It is said to be haunted by the spirits of former Colonial soldiers who were killed in a smallpox outbreak in the early 1810's. Location Address: 34 Fort George Road, Lake George, New York The Lake George Battlefield State Park in Lake George, New York is said to be haunted by the spirits of hundreds of French, British, and Native American troops who were killed during the Battle Of Lake George on September 8, 1755. Tourists visiting the location report witnessing the apparitions of soldiers marching, as well as hearing disembodied screams and musket fire. Others report feeling sudden cold spots or drops in temperature in certain parts of the battlefield, along with feeling the presence of an unseen entity nearby. #4 - Lake George Historical Association & Museum

Location Address: 290 Canada Street, Lake George, New York The Lake George Historical Association & Museum in Lake George, New York was constructed in 1845 as the Warren County Courthouse, where outlaws were jailed and major criminal trials were once held. The location served as the headquarters for many government officials until 1963, and is said to be haunted by the spirits of former prisoners who were sentenced to death and executed. Visitors at the location often report witnessing apparitions, as well as experiencing sudden cold spots, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. #5 - Long Island Campground

Location Address: 290 Canada Street, Lake George, New York Long Island is a small island located off the coast of Lake George, New York, not to be confused with the more well-known Long Island of New York City. It is said to be haunted by the spirit of a bride and groom who were murdered while spending their honeymoon camping on the island during the 1960's. Campers staying at the site have reported encountering the spirit of a woman wearing a white wedding gown, as well as experiencing other unexplained paranormal activity, such as disembodied voices, cold spots, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity.

Location Address: Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn, New York Constructed between 1869 and 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn, New York is said to be haunted by the spirits of at least twenty former workers who were killed during its construction. Motorists and pedestrians at night often report witnessing shadow figures, as well as hearing disembodied voices and screams. One commonly seen spirit is that of a headless man who was allegedly decapitated by a large cable during the bridge's construction, and another is that of a young girl whose spirit is seen by pedestrians at night. It's also estimated that hundreds of people over the years have committed suicide by jumping from the Brooklyn Bridge, whose spirits may still linger at the location of their death. #2 - Brooklyn Public Library

The documentary went on to claim that the girl's spirit still lingers to haunt the building, however these claims were later debunked as being a hoax invented by the students. #3 - Highland Park

Location Address: Jackie Robinson Parkway, Brooklyn, New York Established in 1901, Highland Park in Brooklyn, New York is a wooded park spanning 141 acres, with trails for walking and other outdoor amenities. Visitors at Highland Park report encountering the apparition of an unknown woman and child. Unfortunately, little else is known about this allegedly haunted location. #4 - McCarren Park

Location Address: 776 Lorimer Street, Brooklyn, New York Opened in 1906 as Greenpoint Park, McCarren Park in Brooklyn, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a young girl who drowned in the old swimming pool, as well as several other apparitions. The pool was closed and drained in 1984, and according to police records a number of homeless people taking refuge in the empty pool have been found dead over the years, many having died from drug overdoses, murder, suicide, or other unnatural causes. Visitors at McCarren Park also report feeling the presence of an unseen entity, while sometimes experiencing other unexplained paranormal phenomena, such as hearing disembodied voices and feeling sudden cold spots. #5 - Most Holy Trinity Church

Location Address: 138 Montrose Ave, Brooklyn, New York Opened in 1841, the Most Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former sexton and bell ringer named George Stelz, who was murdered in the church's bell tower in 1897. According to legend, the man's bloody hand prints can still be seen in the spot where he was killed, and many churchgoers have reported encountering the apparition of a man believed to be Mr. Stelz. Others report witnessing the church's bell being rung by an unseen entity. Another spirit said to haunt Most Holy Trinity Church is that of the former Monsignor Michael May, who passed away in 1895. #6 - St. Joseph High School

Location Address: 80 Willoughby Street, Brooklyn, New York Established in 1904 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, St. Joseph High School is an all-girls Roman Catholic high school in Brooklyn, New York. Unfortunately, very little additional information is available regarding this allegedly haunted location.

Location Address: 67 Broadway, Fort Edward, New York Constructed in the 1840's as a blacksmith shop, the Anvil Inn in Fort Edward, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a woman whose apparition is allegedly seen by patrons at the bar. Guests report experiencing strange paranormal phenomena, such as cold spots, doors opening and closing by themselves, and objects such as plates and bottles being dropped to the floor by an unseen entity. Employees also report experiencing lights and other electronic devices turning on and off by themselves. #2 - Ft. Hudson Health System

Location Address: 319 Broadway, Fort Edward, New York Fort Hudson Health System in Fort Edward, New York is an assisted living home for senior citizens. It is said to be haunted by the spirit of a man in a black suit, whose apparition is often seen by residents at night, as well as the spirit of a woman in a white dress, known as "The Lady In White." Employees and residents often report experiencing other paranormal activity, such as cold spots, sudden drops in temperature, and feeling the presence of an unseen entity. #3 - Jane McCrea House

Location Address: 111 Broadway, Fort Edward, New York The Jane McCrea House in Fort Edward, New York is said to be haunted by the spirit of a woman named Jane McCrea, who was killed by Native American warriors in July of 1777. According to legend, Jane McCrea was engaged to a British soldier when fighting broke out in the fort. When Jane attempted to flee, she was captured and later scalped after a failed ransom negotiation with British troops. Ever since, her spirit is said to haunt the Jane McCrea House, and residents report experiencing strange paranormal phenomena, such as apparitions, disembodied voices, footsteps, and lights turning on and off by themselves.
