Hey everyone! It's July already, which means it's finally summer time! It's also time for the next GhostQuest.net monthly newsletter! I hope everyone had a great spring! For those of you who are just recently becoming part of the community - welcome aboard! And thank you for subscribing! I'm Brian, and I run GhostQuest.net, the internet's soon-to-be largest resource for paranormal researchers, investigators, and enthusiasts. GhostQuest.net currently hosts one of the internet's largest online databases of haunted locations and paranormal hotspots in the USA.
Happy Summer Solstice & Happy Independence Day!! June 21st marks the first day of SUMMER with the summer solstice - a time to celebrate personal and spiritual growth, and the vibrant nature of the season! In ancient times, the summer solstice was celebrated with feasts and bonfires as a time of abundance, when people were free from the stress and burdens of the harsh winter months. Here in America, we also celebrate the 4th of July, better known as Independence Day, where we celebrate our freedom and independence in our own special way; with feasts, bonfires, and fireworks, of course! So for all of you awesome folks who have taken the time to read this (thank you!!), I wish you a happy Independence Day, and a peaceful, joyful, and abundant summer season!! Exciting News & Updates In recent months I've started posting more ghost stories, pictures, and other fun updates on social media, which have received some great feedback from you guys; my awesome Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Pinterest followers! So first off, thank you guys so much for your support! I've also been posting new spooky videos to my YouTube Channel, so be sure to subscribe and like my videos if you haven't already! I love hearing from you guys, and reading your comments and messages! So, here's what's been going on with GhostQuest.net in the last month! As I mentioned in my last newsletter, I'm teaming up with Marissa at Raven's Quill Publishing to not only republish my Haunted Locations Index: New York book, but to also publish all of my Haunted Locations Index books going forward!! Having access to an editor and proofreader is vastly helping me to improve the quality of the content in my books, and the new cover design looks amazing!! I've also done an additional layer of research on the locations listed in my New York Index, which brings the final length of the republished book from 130 pages, to over 200 pages! So keep an eye out for the Haunted Locations Index: New York sometime over the next few months, available in paperback and eBook format!! And of course, all the information in my book is available for reference at: www.ghostquest.net/haunted-new-york.html Additionally, if you'd like to get a FREE digital copy of the Haunted Locations Index: New York, you can CLICK HERE to join the GhostQuest.net Book Review Club!! You'll receive a free copy of the Haunted Locations Index: New York In exchange for leaving me a quick, honest review on Amazon! You can also sign up to get all my future Haunted Locations Index series books just for leaving me another review! As an author, one of the biggest challenges when publishing a book is getting the initial reviews on Amazon, which serve as a recommendation to other readers who may be interested in the book. Not only does signing up for the GhostQuest.net Book Review Club help me out immensely, you also get a free book! And who doesn't love free books? Speaking of free books, as a THANK YOU to all my awesome newsletter subscribers (that's you!), I'm giving away a free copy of my latest eBook, Top 5 American Monsters, which you can download by clicking the link HERE (subscribers only: click here to subscribe and get your free copy!). Additionally, I'm making a YouTube Series about the Top 5 American Monsters that you can check out by clicking here. So, what's next? Over the last several weeks I've begun revamping the Haunted Locations Index: Massachusetts page, in preparation for publishing my second book, which will be... you guessed it! The Haunted Locations Index: Massachusetts. If you'd like to receive a free copy in exchange for leaving me a review on Amazon, you can click here to sign up! In the meantime, check out my current list of over 300 haunted locations in Massachusetts: www.ghostquest.net/haunted-massachusetts.html Over the next month, I'll also be publishing three more videos to my YouTube Channel for my Top 5 American Monsters series; the Wendigo, the Lake Champlain Monster, and one of my personal favorites, the Mothman, who terrorized several small towns in West Virginia during the mid-1960's. So be sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you get a notification when I publish a new video! As a new YouTube content creator I really appreciate your support so much!!! I'd also like to give a special shout out to my awesome Patreon followers (all two of them...), who help to cover the costs of hosting GhostQuest.net by making a small $1 monthly pledge. And for $2, you can become part of the "Energy Drink Tier," which helps me to stay caffeinated so I can continue delivering all this great content to you guys! This also really helps me cover some of the costs associated with hosting my website, and making GhostQuest.net one of the best online resources for paranormal investigators and enthusiasts! Believe it or not, the cost of running and maintaining such a huge website really adds up! Well, that's it for our July 2019 newsletter! Thanks so much for taking the time to read my newsletter, and don't forget to send me a message saying hi! Have a spooky July! Thanks, Brian, GhostQuest.net
