The General Lewis Inn
"The General Lewis Inn Woman In White"

The General Lewis Inn in Lewisburg, West Virginia was constructed in 1834 as a private residence, and later opened as an inn in 1929. Room 208 is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman in white, and the inn's 2nd floor is believed to be inhabited by the spirit of a young girl, and a former African American slave. Although many have reported encountering these apparitions over the years, their identities and the reason for their presence is unknown.
