Hartland Music Hall & Event Venue
"Hartland Township First Congregational Church"

Hartland Music Hall in Hartland Township, Michigan was constructed in 1858 as a church by members of the Hartland Township First Congregational Church. In 1932 the building was remodeled for plays and other musical performances, and also served as a popular wedding venue. Performers at Hartland Music Hall have reported experiencing a variety of unexplained paranormal activity over the years, such as props and other objects being moved by an unseen entity, or feeling a strange, eerie presence.

Location Address: 10300 Maple Road, Hartland Township, Michigan
Hartland United Methodist Church in Hartland Township, Michigan was constructed in the early 1860's and is said to be haunted by the spirit of a carpenter named William Shoemaker, who was killed after falling from the building's bell tower in 1910 while performing renovations. Now his ghost, nicknamed "Willy," is allegedly seen by churchgoers, while others report hearing the sounds of disembodied footsteps, or witnessing lights flickering. The Hartland United Methodist Church is also featured on seasonal ghost tours during the Halloween season, where those taking the tour frequently report experiencing paranormal activity.

Heartland Village Cemetery in Hartland Township, Michigan was established in the early 1840's and is said to be haunted by the spirit of an unidentified man. The man's shadowy apparition is allegedly seen in different areas of the cemetery, and often appears to be watching visitors. Others claim to hear the disembodied sounds of a man's voice, while also experiencing unexplained cold spots and sudden drops in temperature. Hartland Village Cemetery was recognized as a Michigan State Historic Site in 2006, and is sometimes also referred to as Hartland Burying Ground, or otherwise simply Hartland Cemetery.

The Florence B. Dearing Museum
"The Old Hartland Town Hall"

The Florence B. Dearing Museum in Hartland Township, Michigan was constructed in 1891 as the Hartland Town Hall. The historic building is said to be haunted by several spirits who are believed to have died in some type of accident or natural disaster. Those visiting the old museum have reported witnessing the apparitions of multiple different men and women whose identities are unknown. Although no records exist of anyone dying at the Florence B. Dearing Museum or Hartland Town Hall, local historians note that in 1920 a dam sitting on the nearby Ore Creek just west of town burst, killing an unknown number of men and women whose bodies would have been held at the town hall before burial.

Victory Baptist Church in Hartland Township, Michigan was originally constructed as a skating rink and recreation hall. It is said to be haunted by the spirit of a young woman named Eva Epley, who was killed in a skating accident in 1932 at the age of twenty years old. Ever since, Hartland Township residents have reported encountering the ghostly figure of a young woman on roller skates at the old church, or skating on the street outside.
