Conroe High School in Conroe, Texas was constructed in 1964. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of a former student named Cheryl Dee Ferguson, whose lifeless, strangulated body was found above the auditorium during a volleyball game on August 23, 1980. Ever since, students have reported experiencing unexplained paranormal phenomena in the area where her body was found, such as lights flickering, and sudden, unexplained cold spots. Formerly a hospital, the Conroe Independent School District Administration Building in Conroe, Texas is said to be haunted by a number of apparitions whose identities are unknown, including an elderly man and a little girl who are often encountered by employees.
