Jonathan Wheelock's Farmhouse
"The Wheelock Farmhouse"

Location Address: Cavendish, Vermont
Deacon Jonathan Wheelock, who founded the first Episcopalian church in Vermont, is said to haunt the Johnathan Wheelock Farmhouse, which he built in 1789. Witnesses at the farmhouse have reported waking up in the middle of the night to see a blue apparition in the room, either staring at them or looking out the window. Items are also known to go missing and then reappear in strange places, and furniture will often rearrange itself. Additional research for this allegedly haunted location is currently in progress.

The Golden Stage Inn Bed & Breakfast in Cavendish, Vermont was built in 1788 as a stagecoach stop, and is rumored to have been used as a stop on the Underground Railroad during the American Civil War. It is also believed to be haunted by the ghost of a man, nicknamed Robert, and a woman who is seen brushing her hair before suddenly disappearing. Many also report witnessing a mysterious, spectral cat. Additional research for this allegedly haunted location is currently in progress.
