The Dienger Trading Company Building

The Dienger Trading Company in Boerne, Texas was constructed in 1884 by a German immigrant named Joseph Dienger, his wife, Ida, and their seven children. The historic building is believed to be haunted by the ghost of the late Joseph Dienger, who passed away in a bedroom upstairs in 1950 at the age of ninety. Guests and employees also report witnessing lights flickering, objects such as glasses and dishware being moved by an unseen entity, and hearing the sounds of disembodied voices and footsteps. The Kendall Hotel

The Kendall Hotel in Boerne, Texas was built in 1859 as a private home by Erastus and Sarah Reed. It later opened as a stagecoach stop, and is said to be haunted by several spirits, including one former owner who was killed in a hunting accident nearby. Guests and employees also report encountering the apparitions of a man and woman believed to be Erastus and Sarah Reed, and experiencing other paranormal phenomena such as lights flickering, or hearing the disembodied sounds of a horse and carriage. The Carstanjen-Hall House in Boerne, Texas was built in 1872 for a family of German immigrants. Beginning in the late 1970's, the building was renovated for use as a restaurant called the Circle S Saloon, then later the Country Spirit Restaurant, and finally La Mansion Mexican Restaurant, and El Chaparral. It is said to be haunted by three spirits, including that of a teenage boy named David who drowned, and a mysterious woman named Augustine who is allegedly seen near the bathroom area. Lastly, employees report encountering the ghost of a man in the basement, nicknamed Fred. Additional research for this allegedly haunted location is currently in progress.
