Belton Train Depot

Location Address: Belton, Texas
The old Belton Train Depot in Belton, Texas was constructed in 1899 as part of the Missouri, Kansas, & Texas (MKT) Railway. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of a former police officer who was shot to death by another officer while exiting the building. Miss Hattie's Place
"The Woman In White"

Coordinates: PRIVATE RESIDENCE
Location Address: PRIVATE RESIDENCE, Belton, Texas
Miss Hattie's Place in Belton, Texas was first constructed during the 1920's. It was used as a brothel, speakeasy, and hideout for alcohol bootleggers during the American Alcohol Prohibition, and is said to be haunted by a number of spirits, including a woman in white named Madam Elizabeth, a teenage boy who was murdered, and a well-dressed man named Jacob. Miss Hattie's Place is a PRIVATE RESIDENCE located on PRIVATE PROPERTY, and trespassers risk being arrested or prosecuted by law enforcement and/or property owners. Additional research for this allegedly haunted location is currently in progress.

​Old Bell County Jail

Location Address: PRIVATE RESIDENCE, Belton, Texas
The old Bell County Jail in Belton, Texas was constructed in 1873. It is believed to be haunted by the ghosts of nine criminals who were executed on May 25, 1874 by a group of vigilantes. The old Bell County Jail was closed in 1884, and is now a PRIVATE RESIDENCE located on PRIVATE PROPERTY. Trespassers risk being prosecuted by law enforcement and/or property owners. Additional research for this allegedly haunted location is currently in progress.

The old Wedemeyer Academy in Belton, Texas was first built in 1881 as a private residence. It was used as The Wedemeyer Academy from 1886 until 1911, and is rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of a number of former students, teachers, and residents of the home. The building served briefly as an inn, and is now a PRIVATE RESIDENCE located on PRIVATE PROPERTY. Trespassers risk being prosecuted by law enforcement and/or property owners. Additional research for this allegedly haunted location is currently in progress.

University Of Mary Hardin-Baylor
"Baylor Female College"

The University Of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas was first established in 1845 as Baylor Female College. Pressure Hall was constructed in 1930, and is said to be haunted by the ghost of a former student named Leona Dunlap, who was shot to death in a tragic murder-suicide by her ex boyfriend in December of 1961. Ever since, students and faculty members at Pressure Hall have reported hearing the sounds of disembodied voices and footsteps, and the sounds of a piano playing by itself late at night. ​Yettie Polk Park

Yettie Polk Park in Belton, Texas was established in 1919, and contains various amenities such as hiking trails, picnic tables, and other recreational areas. The park is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman named Yettie Tobler Polk and her four young children who were killed in a great flood in December of 1913.
