Grill House Pub & Restaurant
"The Grill House"

Location Address: 1071 32nd Street, Allegan, Michigan
Established in 1836 as a stagecoach stop and boarding house, The Grill House Restaurant is renowned as being one of the first inns ever constructed in the state of Michigan. It is said to be haunted by a ghost nicknamed Jack who was killed in a knife fight in 1847, and whose body was allegedly buried in an unmarked grave somewhere on the property. Since his death, patrons at The Grill House report witnessing Jack's spirit, as well as experiencing a variety of other unexplained paranormal phenomena such as lights flickering, and other electronic devices turning on and off by themselves. Employees also report feeling a strange presence, and witnessing objects such as dishes and furniture being moved by an unseen entity.

Robinson Manor
"The Old John Robinson Hospital"

Location Address: 701 Marshall Street, Allegan, Michigan
Robinson Manor in Allegan, Michigan was constructed in 1909 as John Robinson Hospital, which served patients until 1948. It was purchased in 1961 and used as the Allegan Elks Lodge until 2010 when it was remodeled for use as an event center. The location is said to be haunted by the spirits of several unidentified men and women who were once patients at John Robinson Hospital, as well as a group of young children who may have died of tuberculosis while being treated there. Employees working at Robinson Manor often report witnessing apparitions and shadow figures, especially in the basement where the old morgue was previously located. Many have also reported experiencing a variety of other unexplained paranormal activity, such as disembodied voices and laughter, objects moving by themselves, and doors or cabinets being opened and closed by an unseen entity. On several occasions guests have even reported feeling as if being touched by someone or something, including one woman who claims she was slapped across the face by an invisible hand.

The Yellow Motel

According to historians the infamous American mobster Al Capone once used The Yellow Motel in Allegan, Michigan as a hideout during the 1920's due to its secluded location surrounded by woods. Although the original structure burned down during the 1990's, parts of the building's foundation still remains. The ruins of the former motel are said to be haunted by the spirits of several murder victims whose bodies were disposed of in the surrounding woods, many of which were never found. Paranormal investigators exploring the location claim to witness a number of unidentified spirits and apparitions, in addition to experiencing a variety of other paranormal phenomena such as disembodied voices and footsteps, or feeling a strange presence. Others report witnessing the spirits of a pack of white spectral hounds that appear late at night to chase away trespassers, as well as a phantom vehicle on the road nearby. Many motorists and pedestrians in the area also report witnessing a pair of glowing red eyes that appear to watch passersby from just beyond the tree line.
