Malibou Lake
"The Lady Of The Lake"
Coordinates: 34.108375°, -118.754305°
Location Address: Lake Vista Drive, Agoura Hills, California
Located within the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in Agoura Hills, California, Malibou Lake is a private manmade reservoir that was formed in 1922 as a result of the construction of the nearby Malibou Lake Dam. The 350 acres of rugged wilderness and mountainous terrain surrounding the lake became a widely used filming location for over 100 Hollywood productions over the following years, including classic films like Frankenstein (1931), Gone With The Wind (1939), and The Ring (2002), and is now home to an exclusive private community of over 250 residents. Malibou Lake is rumored to be haunted by the spirit of a woman who once swam at the lake before dying of old age, whose apparition is allegedly seen swimming to and from a small island. Although very little information regarding the woman's identity is known, she is often seen wearing a swimming cap, and many locals over the years have come to refer to her simply as "The Lady Of The Lake."

Reyes Adobe Museum & Historical Site
"Reyes Adobe Museum"
Coordinates: 34.151703°, -118.781751°
Location Address: 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive, Agoura Hills, California
Reyes Adobe was constructed in the mid-1800's by a man named Jose Paulino Reyes and his wife, Maria, and is locally famous for being the first home built in Agoura Hills. It was purchased by the city of Agoura Hills and opened as a museum and cultural center in 1983, which offers historical tours and hosts a number of annual gatherings. The location is said to be haunted by several spirits and ghostly apparitions, most of whom are believed to be former members of the Reyes family and residents of the home. Another spirit allegedly encountered by tourists and employees at Reyes Adobe is that of a bandit who was killed while trying to break in shortly after the house was constructed. According to legend, the lone bandit attempted to invade the home during the day while the men of the house were out, but was shot and killed by one of the women in the house cooking dinner. When the men later returned home it was decided that the bandit's body would be buried in a hidden location somewhere on the property, and the event was kept secret from local authorities due to fear of retaliation from other bandits or prosecution from law enforcement. Since opening as a museum in 1983, guests touring Reyes Adobe have reported witnessing mysterious apparitions, and hearing the sounds of disembodied voices and whispers. Many also report feeling a strange presence, and on several occasions during ghost hunting events hosted at the location paranormal investigators have reported witnessing unexplained glowing orbs and lights, as well as allegedly capturing evidence of disembodied voices and EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) on audio recording devices.
