News & Updates
First off, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone reading this email, and everyone who takes the time to share my posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! I do all of the writing, research, web development, video editing, and content creation for GhostQuest.net myself, and I appreciate your support so much!!
So what's new at GhostQuest.net this month? As I mentioned in my last few newsletters, over the next several months (or maybe even longer) I'll be going through some of the older pages on GhostQuest.net that are still blank or in need of an update in order to deliver a more consistent experience for readers. For example, if you were to click my Haunted Pennsylvania page, you'd notice that there's nothing more than a bulleted list of locations there, whereas pages like Michigan and Massachusetts have much more detailed information. Then there are some states like California and Texas which are somewhere in between.
Over the last month I've added over 275 completely new haunted locations to my Haunted Virginia page, which brings the total number listed on GhostQuest.net to 12,909. Virginia is full of interesting history and amazing haunted locations, and I can't even say how much I enjoyed learning and writing about some of these fascinating, spooky stories!! If you're a Virginia native, I know you'll love reading about them too!! There's a little bit of something for everyone, including stories about Civil War battlefields, Native American folklore, prohibition era stories... and even a legend about the ghost of Blackbeard The Pirate, whose decapitated head was displayed on a post in the town of Hampton for years after his death, in a location now appropriately named "Blackbeard's Point."
If you haven't checked out my list of haunted locations in your state, what are you waiting for!! I'd love to know if you've been to some, or if I've missed any!! You can also leave a comment, suggest a new location, or submit pictures and videos in the User Comments & Submissions section! I'd love to hear from you!!
And be sure to check out my most recent YouTube Video about the Top 2 Most Haunted Places in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
I also record new episodes for my YouTube Channel and post new blogs early for all my $1+ Patreon Subscribers to enjoy before everyone else!! My next video about the Top 3 Most Haunted Places In Lenox, Massachusetts is already up, along with a corresponding Early Access Blog Post, and I can't wait for you guys to see it! If you haven't checked out my Patreon Page, I have a bunch of other cool stuff on there too like blogs, polls, contests, giveaways, videos, and more! My $5 patrons also get free copies of all my upcoming eBooks, and for $15 you get free signed copies of all my upcoming paperback books as well!! To those of you guys who do support me on Patreon, I just want to say a special THANK YOU for helping out, especially in these trying times! I work really hard to put out the amount of content I do on GhostQuest.net, and your contributions toward my hosting and production costs help out so much!!
And last but not least, if you haven't checked out my book series, The Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: USA, be sure to click the link below!! I'll eventually be releasing a new book for each state, so be sure to keep an eye out when I get to yours!!
Well, that's it for the GhostQuest.net November, 2021 newsletter! Thank you all again so much for subscribing and supporting GhostQuest.net! Have a spooky November!
