News & Updates
First off, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone reading this newsletter, and everyone who takes the time to send me messages on social media, and share my posts! As you know, I do all of the writing, research, web development, video creation, and editing myself, and I appreciate you all so much!
Over the last few months GhostQuest.net has been seeing some huge, exciting growth across many fronts!! To get the boring stuff out of the way, I've made lots of small but important updates to the coding of GhostQuest.net, which has really improved the placement of my website on Google, which is huge! The momentum is starting to build, and I feel like this is the beginning of something great!
Last month I spent some extra time working on some awesome new videos for the GhostQuest.net YouTube Channel, which has also been seeing some exciting new changes! First off, I've scheduled my new videos from here going forward to premier every Saturday at 12:00 noon EST!! What this means is that on Saturday when my new video premiers, those watching the premier will see a special chat room where you can talk about the video, ask questions, and more! I've had the opportunity to attend several other video premiers over the last month, and they were a lot of fun! So I hope you'll join me this Saturday, May 2nd for the first premier of my newest video, which looks into the Lake Champlain Monster of Vermont!
I've also begun recording episodes for my YouTube Channel a week early, which I post for all my $1 Patreon Subscribers to enjoy a full week before everyone else! If you haven't checked out my Patreon Page, I have a bunch of other cool stuff on there too, like blog posts, polls, and more! Once I hit 20 subscribers I'll begin doing monthly contests and giveaways where you can win cool stuff, like books, tee shirts, event tickets, and other cool merchandise! To those of you guys who do support me on Patreon (all 3 of you!!) I just want to say a special THANK YOU for helping out, especially in these trying times! I work hard to put out the amount of content I do on GhostQuest.net and your contribution towards my hosting and production costs help me out SO MUCH!
Another exciting update I've made to GhostQuest.net is adding a "User Comments & Submissions" section for each of the locations listed on my Haunted City pages. This gives my readers a chance to leave comments and feedback, or submit their own personal stories and pictures!! Here's an example of what I mean as displayed on my Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: Detroit and my Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: Mackinac Island pages! I'd love to hear some of your stories!
And last but not least, I'm still working hard writing and researching for my Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: Michigan, which contains over 400 allegedly haunted locations in the state of Michigan! It's taken several months, but I'm finally around half way done! If you haven't checked out this page, Michigan is insanely haunted, and there's tons of awesome spooky ghost stories on my page to read about! I hope you all enjoy it!
Well, that's it for the GhostQuest.net May, 2020 newsletter! Thank you all again so much for subscribing and supporting GhostQuest.net! Have a spooky May!
