News & Updates
First off, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone reading this newsletter, and everyone who takes the time to share my posts and send me messages on social media! As you know, I do all of the writing, research, web development, video creation, and content creation myself, and I appreciate your support so much!
Over the last few months GhostQuest.net has been seeing some huge, exciting growth across many fronts!! The momentum is starting to build, and I feel like this is the beginning of something awesome!
Last month I continued researching and adding new locations to my Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: Michigan, which at this point I've been working on for several months. Michigan has by far been the most haunted state I've written about, and I'm not even close to finished yet. I'd highly encourage everyone to check it out if you haven't already!!
I've also been working on publishing my upcoming book, The Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: New York, which features over 300 ghost stories and other folklore tales! I was really hoping to have a release date to share with everyone for this newsletter, but unfortunately we're not quite there yet... but I assure you all that I should be announcing it very, very soon!!
Last month I also spent some extra time working on some awesome new videos for the GhostQuest.net YouTube Channel, which has also been seeing some exciting new changes! First off, I've scheduled my new videos going forward to premier every Saturday at 5:00pm EST!! What this means is that on Saturday when my new video premiers, those watching right at 5:00 EST will see a special chat room where you can talk about the video, ask questions, share stories, and more! I've had the opportunity to attend several video premiers over the last month, and they were a lot of fun! So I hope you'll join me this Saturday, June 13th for the premier of my newest video: The Top 3 Most Haunted Places in Utica, New York! If you click the Link Here you can set a reminder on YouTube, so I hope to see you guys there! My last few videos have been really fun, and I've enjoyed chatting with you guys so much! I've really started looking forward to this every week!
And here's my latest YouTube video for those who haven't checked it out yet!
I've also begun recording episodes for my YouTube Channel a week early, which I post for all my $1 Patreon Subscribers to enjoy a full week before everyone else! If you haven't checked out my Patreon Page, I have a bunch of other cool stuff on there too, like blog posts, polls, and more! Once I hit 20 subscribers I'll begin doing monthly contests and giveaways where you can win cool stuff, like books, tee shirts, event tickets, and other cool merchandise! To those of you guys who do support me on Patreon (all 5 of you!!) I just want to say a special THANK YOU for helping out, especially in these trying times! I work really hard to put out the amount of content I do on GhostQuest.net and your contribution towards my hosting and production costs help me out SO MUCH!!
Another exciting update I've made to GhostQuest.net is adding a "User Comments & Submissions" form for each of the locations listed on my Haunted City pages. This gives my readers a chance to leave comments and feedback, or submit their own personal stories and pictures!! Here's an example of what I mean as displayed on my Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: Detroit and my Folklore & Haunted Locations Guide: Mackinac Island pages! I'd love to hear some of your stories!
Well, that's it for the GhostQuest.net June, 2020 newsletter! Thank you all again so much for subscribing and supporting GhostQuest.net! Have a spooky June!
